Why the Prompter Posse?

Heard the statement, "Anyone can scroll prompter?" … to which I always respond, "Yes, anyone can scroll words, but do you want just anyone dealing directly with your client?"

Teleprompting obviously isn't rocket science, but not everyone has the knack to handle last minute challenges with a smile, or the technical expertise and professional maturity to exceed your expectations, and more importantly, your client's expectations. Your prompter operator is going to have direct access to your end client or chief executive. Are you comfortable trusting that access to a labor company that hired someone who types with two fingers, begrudgingly just came back from their smoke break, and tomorrow will be running audio and could care less about the service level they provide, since teleprompting isn't their livelihood?

Prompter operators aren't just scrolling words … they're basically backstage bartenders. We calm nerves, we read thru every word of every speech as we're formatting it … so that we're as familiar with your executive's speech as they are (or should be, hopefully). We're a speaker's life line - someone they need to thoroughly trust while on stage, and the industry expertise and service required to do that passionately well, takes years of training. Expertise and service … to have one without the other, would be detrimental to our growth and a waste of finances and time, for you.

Everyone in the prompting industry, has easy access to state-of-the-art equipment … leaving service as the ultimate differentiator. To that end, we're sure you will receive bids lower than ours, but we're hoping you prefer to work with vendors whose value-add isn't just lowest price.

If that needs to be the case, and your decision between us and XYZ Company is the fact that their day rate is $50 less per day -- then we believe, we're not the company for you. Our rates are based on the average day rate of prompting companies throughout the US. We're not the most expensive and we'll never be the least. If we were, then that would mean we're lowering our rate continually to undercut our fellow competitors. Any company needing to acquire business in that manner, doesn't have a reputation defending its bottom line.

We can say in all confidence … that we're worth every penny of our day rate … and we'll be priceless to you... when your client requests us again for your next project.
